BB’andwagon: Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream
FIRST THOUGHTS: “Why are Asian Women crazy about it? I am Asian, should I join the bandwagon?”

At this age of time, also known as the BB Cream Era, you do think you still need any introduction? Okay, so if you are living under a rock (no offense meant) here is its strictest definition: BB stands for Blemish Balm, and designed as an all-in-one base product that provides coverage, sun protection and is good for the skin. In terms of formulation it should be mineral based, and contains about 80% skin-healing ingredients. – I am sold, let’s give it a try.

EH Precious Mineral BB Cream All Day Strong is my favorite BB Cream so far as it does precious things on my complexion. Very fitting huh? The appeal of the product, its quality, price and packaging always gets me. It comes in three shades, each one has its own unique purpose.

#1 Sheer Silky Skin - oil-free in hours (For Oily Skin)
This is the fairest one of all, medium-skinned people like Filipinos will get intimidated at first sight. It is formulated to give you a matte powdery finish, hence, you can skip finishing powder. (one of the FEW exceptions) And has excellent oil control.

#2 Sheer Glowing Skin - glowing beauty (For Dry Skin)
This is the closest shade for me (NC 30 for reference). It leaves your skin looking dewy with that extra glow. Here, a finishing powder is a must because its longevity is not as good as #1.

#3 Sheer Flawless Skin - redness and blemishes be gone (For All Skin Types)
This is also a pretty decent shade for me (but it has more pink undertone than #2). It has the heaviest coverage for the purpose of dealing with skin imperfections. Keep your concealer, this is all you need.

(Left to Right) #1 Sheer Silky Skin, #2 Sheer Glowing Skin, #3 Sheer Flawless Skin
Etude House, Y U DO THIS? All of the variants has a very strong pink undertone - which is unusual for Asian Skin. Which should be unusual for an Asian Company to make.
I just found out that it is also available in #4 Sheer Shiny Skin
PRICE: Php728 each (got samples from an auction)
WHERE TO FIND: Etude House / Ebay
What’s your favorite BB?
xx, Kim
